Q: What kind of game is Dawn of Zombies: Survival?
A: It’s a mobile survival RPG set in the aberrated Last Territories following a nuclear apocalypse. The game is currently undergoing open beta testing, It hasn’t been optimised yet and does not have all the content we want to introduce. Most importantly — you may face bugs and glitches. Q: How does D.O.Z. differ from other survival games?
A: Founded on the classic mechanics of the genre — resource extraction, craft, base construction — this game is enhanced up with our own features. For example, there is a huge basement at the home location where you can organize a fallout shelter to hide from the Shining, the deadly emissions of the nuclear Plant.
Inspired by S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and METRO, we have created a realistic gloomy world that has survived a nuclear apocalypse. This world is controlled by dozens of factions from the scientists of the Institute to the military Citadel Corps tac team. The reputation system will enable you to gain the trust of their leaders by getting unique quests and rewards.
We are especially proud of the game’s plot and characters. Some are just trying to survive in a hostile world, others are seeking wealth, and some want to unravel the mystery of their origin. And let’s be honest — in what other game can you ride through radioactive wastelands on a strider’s combat bicycle while looking for artifacts?
Q: What are the system requirements of the game?
A: The game is available on Android devices with OS versions 4.4 and above and at least 3 GB of RAM. However, we can’t guarantee the stable work of the game with this configuration.
We recommend you to use a device with a processor that is about equal in performance to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860, with 6 GB of RAM and a graphics chip like Adreno 640 or higher. We are constantly working to optimize game perfomance, so these recommendations are not final.
There are no restrictions on installing games on an iOS device. However, we cannot guarantee performance of application on iPhone 8 Plus or lower.
Q: How can I update the game? Google Play Store says it is not compatible with my device.

Q: Ads aren’t working in the game, what should I do?
A:
for Android: check if you have ad blockers or antivirus installed on your device, disable them if necessary, or add Dawn of Zombies to the exception list. If this method doesn’t work, make sure that you don’t have ad personalization enabled in your Google Account or device settings — turn it off if necessary.
for iOS: Open the Settings of your device > Privacy > Tracking and allow D.O.Z. to track your activity.
Q: What does the active Golden status give?
A: Purchasing Golden status you get:
— Automatically distribution of items from your inventory into boxes when you are in the Shelter;
— Automatically selection items required for exchange with traders from the price list window in the Shelter;
— One chest of unique equipment per week;
— Extra skill points for every level you reach and the Institute Facilities;
— Double energy with with its accelerated recovery;
— Hunger and thirst ar off while you are in the Shelter;
— Instant movement between locations;
— 100 extra gold per day.
Q: For how long does Golden status is active?
A: After the purchase Golden status is active for a week.
Q: I’ve purchased Golden status, but premium weekly faction missions rewards are still unavailable to me. Why?
A: To get access to premium weekly faction missions rewards Faction Missions Premium is required. It isn’t related to Golden status.
Q: What does the Faction Missions Premium give?
A: Faction Missions Premium provides access to premium rewards including unique factions’ decorations and legendary weapons. It also increases the number of points you get for completing missions.
Q: For how long does the Faction Missions Premium valid?
A: Premium is valid until the weekly missions during which it was purchased are complete or updated automatically.
Q: When the update will be released? What’s it going to be?
A: We can’t name the exact date of the update or disclose its contents. Development is a complex process, there are many unpredictable factors in it. Plans can be changed at any moment. That’s why we don’t name the date or give details: we don’t want to upset the players if it will change.

Q: If I will reset the skills, will I need to complete the quests to open them again?
A: No, you will not need to complete the quests again. Note that the reward chests will not restore after the skills reset.
Q: What will happen to my items if I die?
A: All your items will lose durabilty and may even break. If you die at a common location things will return to your Shelter; in case of death at a temporary location, the Old Gas Station, the Warehouse and the Burned Restaurant things will be waiting for you at the place of death. If you die again before picking up the items, they will disappear. If you do not pick up items before the location timer expires they will be lost.

Q: How to start a new game?
A: Reinstall the game or clear its data in your device Settings app. Refuse the progress restoration after the first loading.
Q: Where are the daily rewards? I don’t get them N days!
A: There are 196 daily rewards in the game. If you don’t get them no more, you have collected them all.
Q: Where’s my daily bonus of meat and water?
A: It’s given to players up to level 100 only.
Q: What is this item\resource for? What are its parameters? How to make it?
A: To see the description of the item\resource, long tap its icon. If you can produce it, the description will indicate the suitable bench.
Q: Where can I find the right resource?
A: If you don’t have enough resources, the “Where to look?” button appears in the craft window or bench window. Tap it and you will see a list of locations where you can find resources, and benches to produce them.
Q: I have finished the Ambush event and have not received the reward items, only the chests. Where are the three other items?
A: Items next to the chest in the event window are not the rewards. They show the possible items in the chest.

Q: Will this game have multiplayer mode?

Q: My account has been blocked. Why?
A: Your account may have been blocked because we detected suspicious activity: using game mods, cheats, etc. If you believe this is a mistake, please contact us and specify your ID.
Q: Where are the Decayers in the Scorched Lands? I can’t find them.
A: There’s a certain chance that Decayers will appear there. If you haven’t met them, return to the location later.
Q: The game doesn’t work properly on PC emulator.
A: At the moment, mobile devices are priority platforms for us and we don’t guarantee workability оf the game on PC emulators. In the future, we plan to optimize D.O.Z. for emulators too, until then we recommend using the latest version of the Nox App Player emulator.
Q: How do I change a character name?
A: Open the inventory and press the pencil button near the nickname.
Q: Will clans or pets appear in the game?
A: Absolutely. The open beta test is in progress and there is still so much more that we’re planning to add in the game. Follow the news to learn about all the updates.
Q: Please, make the game easier! (The game is super easy, please, make it harder!)
A: We’re working on the balance to make the game interesting. All the balance changes depend on game statistics.
Q: How do I save progress?
A: You can synchronize progress with Google Play and Game Center. During the first launch of the game, you will be automatically asked to enable synchronization, in the future you can do it in the game settings window.
Q: Is it possible to transfer progress from one device to another?

Q: When will it be released?
A: The open beta test will end when we’re sure the game is ready for the next stage. We are constantly working on developing D.O.Z., but we don’t want to release an unfinished game.
Q: I want to play offline. Can I?
A: No, unfortunately, you can’t. The game is designed for multiplayer, many elements in it are Internet-bound.
